everytime user download a pakage cydia lways send then to update

install rock - update there.. u wont recive updates anymore

im having the same issue and the rock thing did nothing(i hate rock)...i got a response that its a control file issue that it needs to be rebuilt for the new package not just carried over from the previous package...havent tried it yet dont go check out my repo http://brc0703.myrepospace.com/

yea, its because the control is pre-built so you have no real control over it. it can be fixed by extracting each deb file then rebuilding it either manually or using iDeb on myrepospace Website - Twitter

The only way to fix the update issue is to rebuild all the problem packages?
Im confused the files are the original deb that als work exactly in that form in other repo's!

Can someone explain the problem a bit more technical?

I have this problem with every tested package in my repo also for the repospace generated repo icon pack, that is server generated and not under my control.

This is what happens to me with my source icon package, it's very annoying!

does everyone else have to do this: every time i add a new package, i have to delete the repo off of my iPhone and reinstall it. is that normal?
