Ringtone Tutorial.

Firstly Create a new folder (THIS WILL BE USED TO CREATE ALL FOLDERS NECCESSARRY)
As you can see with the provided template you must create the following folders Library/Ringtones.
To convert to the right format use itunes and click on the song u wish to turn into a ringtone and click create AAC version.
After the file has been converted rename the extension from .m4a to .m4r

After that create a folder called DEBIAN then create a file called control (NO FILE EXTENSION JUST A FILE)

Use the following template for your control file ( in the author line change the < http://www.myrepospace.com/profile/username > to <example@example.com>
IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU DELETE THE SPACES IN < http://www.myrepospace.com/profile/username >)


Package: com.myrepospace.PackageName
Name: Package Full Name
Version: 1.0
Architecture: iphoneos-arm
Description: Awesome Short Description
Homepage: http://www.myrepospace.com
Maintainer: yourusername
Author: username < http://www.myrepospace.com/profile/username >
Section: username - MyRepoSpace.com
Conflicts: com.packageIdont.like, com.secondPackage.IdontNeed
Depends: com.packageI.need, com.SecondPackage.Ineed


After you have completed the above steps upload the folder containg the library and DEBIAN folder to your iphone/ipod touch via SSH
IF YOUR USING WinSCP go to the directory where you uploaded your folder to and press ctrl + t (this opens console) and enter in the following command

dpkg -b "folder name" (Replace folder name with ur folder name obviously.)
if you recieve an error command like this
[dpkg-deb: parse error, in file `Club Cant Handle Me/DEBIAN/control' near line 1:newline in field name `'] there is a space at the start of the file
and if you get something like this [dpkg-deb: parse error, in file `Club Cant Handle Me/DEBIAN/control' near line 9 package

`com.myrepospace.clubcanthandleme':
EOF during value of field `Section' (missing final newline)] THERE MUST BE A LINE AT THE BOTTOM

just make a text file and right click>rename>backspace the .txt extension and your done. when it asks if your sure press yes Website - Twitter

i have done all and created the deb file - when im installing the ringtone it asks "the requested modifications cannot be appiled due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed"
